Systematic Keyword Research

What do you know about keywords? Keywords are words or word phrases that web searchers enter to find specific information on the web.

The right keywords are critical to your site being found at the precise moment that your target audience is searching for solutions. To identify the most popular keywords, you must perform systematic keyword research.

Let's assume that you are the owner of a New York Real Estate business and you're not sure what keywords to target. Do most people who need services type in "New York Real Estate Firm" or "Real Estate Company in New York," or something completely different into Google's search engine?

Keyword selection tools are essential to discovering exactly which phrases your customers are looking for. Tools like Wordtracker, Overture, and AdWords are designed specifically for keyword research! These tools provide statistics on how often people search for keyword sets and variations on the internet.

High numbers of searches are obviously good, but that also means that there will likely be a lot of competition for those high demand words. In a B2B business models, where one sale could spell a huge amount of profits, even low demand keywords matter. Targeting keywords with a very low number of searches is good because competition is scarce. Chances are high that you can seal a big deal!

Once you determine the ideal keyword, you can then create your content around those precise keyword phrases. Ranking well on many keywords is more important than focusing on only few specific keywords. Additionally, ranking well on many keywords means the content theme of your website is well developed.

A high ranking on many keywords will enhance your search engine optimization strategy much more than ranking well for just one keyword!

Build a Theme of Your Website

Completeness, relevance, and unity of all chosen keywords on your website form the universal theme of your website.

Our website's theme is Systematic SEO. We make sure that every page of content focuses on systematic SEO and all of its aspects. We never stray too far from the concept of systematic SEO.

We write about it. We discuss it. We make sure that our content is abundant with keywords like systematic SEO, systematic internet marketing, systematic search engine marketing and other synonymous keywords.

The integrity of your site and your content's consistency with the theme are factors that contribute to high rankings on the search engines.

Remember, search engines (SE) are not humans. They miss a lot of things that humans understand. The day when an SE will be able to understand the paragraph below will be a new age in technology:

Aoccdrnig to rscheearch at Cmabrigde uinervtisy, it deosn't mttaer waht oredr the ltteers in a wrod are, the olny iprmoetnt tihng is taht the frist and lsat ltteres are at the rghit pclae. The rset can be a tatol mses and you can sitll raed it wouthit a porbelm. Tihs is bcuseae we do not raed ervey lteter by it slef but the wrod as a wlohe.

Proper grammar and punctuation and paying special attention to avoid implied meanings are critical to search engine optimization. Simply put, the text on your site is extremely important. It's all about content, folks!

Cougar, or Cougar?

Imagine you have developed a site focused on the Mercury Cougar, the great American sports car. Your website contains many fancy pictures of this fabulous car and a description. Let's assume the word "Cougar" appears five times in the content and word "Mercury" is mentioned once. How will a search engine perceive the context of this piece of text? Search engines could easily assume that your site is one about the animal cougar.

If you own a Mercury Cougar a dealership, you will definitely want to rank well in Google for such keywords as sports car, Mercury Cougar, Mercury car, Cougar sports car, Mercury sports car, new sports cars, etc. The Mercury Cougar website in the previous example, with its poorly distributed keywords, won't even come close to an average ranking in the SE-at least for the intended audience. It may however be highly visible to those searching for information about the wild animal cougar!
